Evolution's recording process is simple:

mics -> desk -> disc

less interference, less wasted time and less to go wrong.

We record onto a 32bit/96kHz 48-track digital hard disc recorder via a 96kHz Yamaha digital desk through optical digital connections.

Monitoring is through a 4-mix/8-channel, closed ear Beyer Dynamic headphone system.

We use industry standard digital recording software - Pro-tools and Adobe Audition.

We fully back-up sessions on-site so there's no chance of ever losing that precious recording.

Sessions can be recorded 'as-live' or individually multi-tracked with overdubbing.

Musicians are also invited to help with post-production and mastering at the company's Soho studio. Evolution's recording process encourages the musicians to be involved every step of the way.
